Privacy policy

Account and contributed information

We use your sign-in provider and account identifier, email, nickname and profile image supplied by that provider, and the nickname and bio you edit, to identify your account and show your profile. Plali does not receive your social account password.

We use information you enter, including place names, addresses, locations, photos, links, notes, lists, comments and reactions, and your AI preferences, to provide those features. We also process sign-in persistence information, AI connection permissions and recent usage records.

Visibility and AI connections

Your nickname, profile image and bio are profile information displayed to others. Places and lists are displayed according to your visibility choices. Private places are not public to other users, and places saved through an AI connection are private by default.

A connected AI service can read or change your profile, preferences and saved places within the permissions you approve. Review permissions and recent use, or disconnect a service, in AI settings. Information already sent to an external AI service is also subject to that service’s policies.

External services

We use Cloudflare to operate the website and API and store data and files. Your selected sign-in provider, such as Google or Kakao, handles authentication. Using an external map or place search may send your query and location information needed for the search to that provider. Providers may process connection information such as IP addresses and browser information when handling requests.

Usage analytics and browser storage

We use Google Analytics to improve the service by measuring page views and actions such as opening the app or AI guide and downloading Skills. Analytics may include page paths, language, device, browser and connection information. We configure events to exclude place notes, preferences, sign-in tokens and connection approval request values. The AI connection approval screen does not include analytics scripts.

We store sign-in persistence information and language choices in your browser, and the analytics service may use cookies. You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking them may limit features such as staying signed in.

Account closure and retained data

Closing your account in account settings deactivates it. Closure does not mean that stored data is immediately and permanently erased. Account and contributed data may remain in storage; email us if you want deletion. You can ask the operator to confirm what will be deleted and the outcome.

Copies already held by external services or other people are not deleted just by changing visibility or disconnecting a service in Plali. You may also need to request deletion from those services or people.

Access, correction, deletion and contact

You can review and edit your profile and saved information in the service. Send requests for access, correction or deletion, and privacy questions or reports, to operator 강솔 (Kang Sol) at support@plali.app. We may verify your identity to protect your account. Do not send passwords or sign-in tokens.
